Reporting Date Rule :

Group 1: Those with a January 1 - June 30 Birthday must complete twenty-four (24) hours of CLE, including four (4) hours of ethics, by December 31, 2013.

Group 2: Those with a July 1 - December 31 Birthday must now complete twenty (24) hours of CLE, including four (4) hours of ethics, by December 31, 2014.

Credits Attorney Can Earn on CLECenter.com:

Compliance Group 1: Those with a January 1 - June 30 Birthday must complete 24 hours of CLE, including 4 ethics, by December 31, 2013. Only twelve (12) of the twenty-four (24) credits may be earned for viewing online programs. Compliance Group 1 reports credits in 2012, once individual Attorney Registrations are received.

Compliance Group 2: Those with a July 1 - December 31 Birthday must complete twenty-four (24) hours of CLE, including 4 ethics, by December 31, 2014. Only 12 of the 24 credits may be earned for viewing online programs. Compliance Group 2 reports credits in 2013, once individual Attorney Registrations are received.

NJ Attorneys may carry over 12 credit hours to the next biennial reporting cycle, including those in ethics.

CLE Center is a division of ALM and CLE accreditation is provided through ALM by the NJ CLE Board to provide CLE courses, including courses in Ethics/Professionalism.

New Jersey lawyers who do not reside or work on a regular and continuous basis in New Jersey or in another mandatory CLE jurisdiction for the entire compliance period or who are medically certified as unable to attend live courses: Courses taken through alternative verifiable learning formats, if approved for CLE course accreditation, may account for 100% of the credit hours required in a compliance period; provided, however, that this shall apply only during such time as (i) the lawyer does not reside or work on a regular and continuous basis for the entire compliance period in New Jersey or in another mandatory CLE jurisdiction or (ii) a licensed physician certifies to the Board that the lawyer is unable to attend live courses.
