Zach Posner

Zach Posner is a Co-founder and Managing Partner of The LegalTech Fund (TLTF), an investor in technology companies that are transforming the world of law. At TLTF, Mr. Posner oversees the organization’s investment and operational activities. Prior to TLTF, Mr. Posner was the President & CEO of Entic, Inc. an energy analytics company that received investment from The Blackstone Group and was acquired in 2019.

Prior to Entic, Mr. Posner was a Senior Vice President and Managing Director at McGraw-Hill (MH), most recently leading its Learning Science Platforms division. He joined MH when it acquired Engrade in 2014, a SaaS instructional improvement platform for K-12 Education. Mr. Posner had served as CEO and co-founder of the company. Mr. Posner started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers and has worked at Insight Partners in addition to serving in other roles. In addition, Posner was an adjunct lecturer at the University of Southern California, teaching courses as part of its Annenberg School of Communications masters’ program.

Posner holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting & Finance from Indiana University, Bloomington.

As CEO, Bryan runs the day-to-day operations of Legal Innovators. He understands the challenges of running corporate law practices and law firms. Not only is he trained in the law, he is also a leader in business. Bryan served as the CEO and COO of venture- and private equity-backed businesses including DaVita and Affinity Media, and also has a background in investment banking.

One of his passions is helping clients find innovative solutions to their hiring, pricing, diversity and inclusion challenges in an efficient and cost-effective manner. He can relate to the pressure today’s businesses face to reduce costs, while preserving quality. Bryan leads our team with this dual focus in mind.

Daryl Shetterly is a Six Sigma Black Belt, is the Director of Orrick Analytics, and helps manage Orrick's Global Operations Center in Wheeling, WV. Daryl’s passion is bringing innovation and business process to the practice of law. The Financial Times recognized Orrick Analytics for the #2 and #3 Most Innovative Product and Service in 2017 and 2018.

Daryl manages a team of 25 tech-savvy attorneys, 100 contract attorneys, assistants that handle project management, analysts that perform big data analysis and statistical modeling, and technologists that build bots, scripts and tools that increase quality and reduce human effort. Daryl’s team designs processes, workflows and templates that are used by dedicated project managers to deliver project plans and enable data driven budgeting and decision-making. As an early adopter of artificial intelligence and machine learning, Daryl’s team uses technology to augment due diligence and drafting tasks, TAR and continuous active learning for eDiscovery, and advanced tools for concept and sentiment analysis.

Daryl’s mission is straightforward: enhance accuracy, speed and security of scalable legal work, generate insights specific to the engagement and reduce client cost.

Daryl helps administer Orrick's Legal Technology Venture Fund. Prior to joining Orrick, Daryl was a Partner at LeClairRyan in Virginia.
