From this program, you will learn about the National Guard duty statuses and how various federal laws and protections - such as the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA), Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA), and other federal laws - apply to National Guard members in each duty status. You will also learn how to better identify and apply appropriate actions for violations of USERRA, focusing on the statute’s reemployment, discrimination, and pension related provisions. This program is designed for military attorneys working in legal assistance as well as civilian lawyers whose practices involve military-connected clients or issues.

In this session, you will learn how GDPR, as well as certain state-mandated data protection regulations, directly affect your business. We will also address the importance of demonstrating on-going compliance on a global and local scale, and how privacy management software and automation can support key related initiatives.
