Samuel Terilli

Sam Terilli focuses his practice on employment law and litigation. He represents and counsels employers in substantive areas including employee policies, discrimination, audits, harassment and training.
In addition to his experience in labor and employment law, he has lectured and written on issues involving the first amendment, privacy, defamation, media relations and the news and advertising business. Sam also serves as an Assistant Professor in the School of Communication at the University of Miami where he teaches courses on media law, management, reporting ethics and the First Amendment. He is also listed in The Best Lawyers in America and was named a 2007, 2008 and 2009 Florida Super Lawyer.

David R. Hazouri, Esq. was formerly a litigation partner with the Miami law firm of Bilzin, Sumberg, Baena, Price & Axelrod, LLC, practicing primarily in the area of complex commercial litigation. He received his BA from Duke University in 1986 and his JD cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law in 1995. He has lectured on the topic of e-discovery to law students and law firms alike, and currently serves on a court-appointed subcommittee for the Complex Business Division of the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit in Broward County as the designated expert assisting the bench in handling reoccurring ESI issues.

Karen Unger

Karen Unger founded American Document Management in 1990. She is an expert on imaging, document management and litigation support.
Karen founded AmDoc after being the Director of Operations for two national litigation support firms. Specializing in handling multi-million page cases, she worked on many diverse projects involving matters such as savings and loan closures, environmental issues, hostile takeover action, real estate disputes and construction.
In 2002, Karen was named the Entrepreneur of the Year by the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce. In 2005, she was awarded the Entrepreneur of the Year, and is the 2006 CEO of the Year for South Florida Business Journal's recognition for the Women of the Year. Most recently AmDoc received the 2007 Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year Award and the 2007 Technology Awards Pinnacle from South Florida Business Journal. Furthermore, Karen has been awarded the rare Certified Computer Examiner (CCE) designation, one of fewer than 800 such designees worldwide. As such she is a member of the International Society of Computer Forensics Examiners.
Karen is active in both community and industry organizations. She is on the Technology Committee of the Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, and regularly speaks at law firm, legal and technology seminars nationwide. Her speaking engagements include the Association of Information and Imaging Management (AIIM), the Association of Records Managers and Administrators (ARMA), Imaging Expo, Data Processing Managers Association, and the Association of Systems Management. She has published articles in the National Law Journal and ARMA newsletters. Her community service includes board membership with Girl Scouts of Broward County and Pace. She is also active with Kids in Distress and Seafarers' House. She was the co-chair of the 2006 Chocolate Fantasy and the 2005 Blessing of the Fleet and Broward Business Leaders Luncheon. Karen is President of the Ecclesia Christi Board of Directors.

Sonya Strnad practices in the litigation department of Holland & Knight and has experience in both federal and state courts, regulatory investigations, congressional investigations and internal investigations. Her practice encompasses internal and government investigations into FCPA compliance, fraud and embezzlement, as well as securities class actions, federal securities fraud and derivatives litigation.
