Biographies

B. John Pendleton, Jr.

Mr. Pendleton defends public and private companies in breach of contract, misrepresentation, RICO, securities fraud, complex litigation and regulatory proceedings that are the subject of claims relating to sales practices, consumer fraud and restrictive covenants. He represents clients in both an advisory role and as a trial lawyer in individual cases throughout the country and nationwide class action litigation. His clients include Fortune 100 companies in financial services, leasing and pharmaceutical areas. He has tried to verdict more than fifty cases and managed hundreds of cases as national coordinating counsel for one of the largest financial service companies in the United States.
Mr. Pendleton is the former Mayor of Mountain Lakes and served as a member of the borough's governing body for eight years. He also serves as a member of the Boards of Washington & Jefferson College and The Newark Boys Chorus School. He is the current Vice Chancellor of the Episcopal Diocese of Newark.
Mr. Pendleton was recognized as a New Jersey Super Lawyer in 2006, 2008 and 2009.

Andrew O. Bunn

Andrew Bunn has a varied litigation practice representing companies in court, arbitration and regulatory proceedings. The cases include individual and class-action claims. They have involved consumer complaints, business disputes, contract and policy interpretations, benefit entitlements, sales practices, ERISA, securities, financial instruments, telecommunications, managed care and regulatory disputes. His clients include some of the country's largest life and health insurance companies, telecommunications providers and manufacturers. Mr. Bunn has tried numerous jury and non-jury cases to verdict, and he has extensive appellate experience.
He has also represented attorneys and law firms in professional malpractice litigation, and has litigated federal contract bidding contests, non-competition agreements, broker disputes, accidental death claims, and land use disputes.
From 1985 to 1987, Mr. Bunn served as an Assistant to New Jersey Governor Thomas H. Kean in the state's Washington, D.C. office, representing the state government's interests before Congress and federal agencies. He was Managing Editor of the Rutgers Law Review and interned with United States District Judge Alfred M. Wolin while in law school.
Mr. Bunn serves as a member of the New Jersey Law Revision Commission, an appointed body created by the New Jersey Legislature. He is also an appointed member of the Committee on Courts of Appellate Jurisdiction of the New York State Bar Association.
Mr. Bunn wrote Protecting Class Action Settlements by Reining in the Opt-out Plaintiffs, Defense Research Institute, Life, Health & Disability News, (Winter 2004) and Comment, Shaver v. Woolworth: Enforced Federalization of Pendent Claims, 42 Rutgers L. Rev. 607 (1990).
Mr. Bunn is recognized as a New Jersey Super Lawyer for 2008 and 2009.
