What to Expect from Our New York CLE Courses
In order to remain an accredited provider with the New York CLE board, CLE Center is required to follow the
verification procedures. Create an account then take the courses on your time and at your pace. Courses are given in
easily digestible audio and video formats from our unique and respected sources. A verification code is embedded in
each NY program to insure that you have watched or listened to the program for which you are claiming CLE credit.
Experienced attorneys may carry over 6 credit hours to the next biennial reporting cycle, including those in ethics.
Newly admitted attorneys may not carry over Ethics & Professionalism credits
Newly Admitted New York Attorneys
Effective January 1, 2016: Newly admitted NY attorneys may take on-demand audio or video courses in
the categories of Law Practice Management and Areas of Professional Practice. The 7 credit hours in
Skills requirement and the 4 credit hours in Ethics & Professionalism requirements remains the same;
therefore newly admitted NY attorneys must earn those credits in traditional formats or formats that have
simultaneous interaction. More information on the changes could be found here:

Newly Diversity, Inclusion and Elimination of Bias Requirement
Effective January 1, 2018: Experienced attorneys are required to earn at least 1 credit hour in Diversity,
Inclusion and Elimination of Bias credit. This credit may be earned in non-traditional format which
includes online programs or in traditional format which includes live events. For more info click

Experienced attorneys & newly admitted attorneys: An attorney registration form will be mailed to you bi-annually. Your registration form must be filed within 30 days after your birthday in the second calendar year following your admission to the New York Bar.

Experienced Attorneys: May earn the entire CLE requirement of twenty-four (24) accredited CLE credit hours through CLECenter.com. At least four (4) of these credit hours must be in Ethics and one (1) in Diversity, Inclusion and Elimination of Bias. (Substance abuse and professionalism credits count as ethics credits.)
